BRIEF
To Site Manage and provide local support and sourcing for the 40th anniversary of the forming of the United Arab Emirates, held at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
WHAT WE DID
Working with a bespoke team of the worlds best entertainment producers, LarMac LIVE were approached to provide a team to work alongside the creative team and manage infrastructure and site services required by the elaborate event. The world-class show, which took three months to build with an international crew of over 200, took place on December 2nd as the finale to the 40th National Day events celebrated across all corners of the United Arab Emirates. The content of the show included aerialists and high octane skaters performed with a cast of over 110 performers and paid homage to the rich cultural journey the country has undertaken in its evolution. Complimenting the core cast were over 2000 local performers made up of school children, volunteers and representatives of the various Armed Forces and Police Divisions.
A 16 camera shoot took place with programming being sent around the world, the roll out and facilitation of which was managed by LarMac LIVE. LarMac’s role was primarily to deliver the requirements of this large-scale production; initially taking advantage of existing services and overlaying infrastructure to ‘up capacity’ of the 1970’s which was essential to provide facilitate areas such as props, aerialist rehearsals, rolling wardrobe, cast dressing room world and laundry together with the more routine requirements of a show.
